mmmmm fine quality cabling  |
What can you really say about this product. Its a cable. Its grey. It has a fine quality connector at either end.Aesthetically this is probably the most beautiful looking cable Ive ever seen. If I was a collector of cables this would be one of the better ones in my cable display cabinet. In operation, this cable managed successfully to connect two devices together. It didnt crash and it has performed it cable duties extremely well. My only criticism is the colour - maybe the manufacturers could produce a paisley version or something in tartan to add a dash of colour to the proceedings. All-in-all then - a cable.

I tried Sonys 810 VCR. All functions are superb and you really could feel that this is the VCR youve been waiting for. The dark side comes when you play a pre-recorded tape, which was used few times already. Ive experienced tiny, black horizontal disturbing lines on the TV screen. It seems that the machine tries to hold the tape synchronized but it fails doing it in the background so the synchronizing actions are VISIBLE!! I also had to set the stereo sound manually for a brand new pre-recorded tape because Sony 810 couldnt keep the stereo sound automatically in track. I had the opportunity to check other Sony 810s and Ive found the same problems. In my opinion these problems are not acceptable if youre watching rental tapes a lot, so I changed for another VCR, which delivers better picture quality in the same price category!!
